8.10.11 | Rise Solar to Attend SOCAP11

SOCAP11 will be held September 6-9 at San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center. Hundreds of global innovators including investors, foundations, institutions and social entrepreneurs representing 75 countries are expected to gather to address the impact investing market - an emerging asset class that provides financial gains for investors with a social and environmental benefit.

3.29.11 | Announcing the 2011 Echoing Green Finalists

Each year, Echoing Green awards two-year fellowships to social entrepreneurs. Fellows receive up to $90,000 in seed funding and technical support to turn their innovative ideas into sustainable social change organizations. Less than 1% of the ~2,900 initial applicants made it to the Finalist stage.

3.14.11 | Rise Solar Is Selected for Hub Ventures

Supported by Good Capital, Village Capital, SOCAP, and the Hub Bay Area, Hub Ventures is a 12-week program providing funding and resources to a community of 16 entrepreneurs building for-profit solutions for a better world. Upon completion of the program, 3-4 ventures will receive $75,000 in seed funding. Additionally, participants will pitch to top Bay Area impact investors at SOCAP Investor Day in June.
